Keeping the entry level devices in check, Vivo just announced their new budget smartphone called the Y90. This phone represents the ‘Y Series’ smartphones that are reliable yet affordable at the same time.
The Y90 comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ screen with 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6%. Its powered by a Helio A22 Quad-Core 12nm SoC with 2GB of RAM, and runs on Android 8.1 with FunTouch OS build on top. Camera wise it comes with an 8MP sensor on the rear and a 5MP sensor up front. It comes with the AI beautification mode and a face unlock feature, as it misses out on a fingerprint sensor. Standard specs include dual SIM and microSD slots with support for VoLTE and Bluetooth 5.0.
Battery pack include a 4030mAh unit that comes paired with Vivo’s exclusive smart power management technology. Vivo also claims the smartphone is Made-in-India with its manufacturing taking place at their Greater Noida Facility.
