We usually use the vacuum cleaner in Eco and Medium modes, using in Boost will last the battery power only for 10 minutes which will not help if you are trying to cover a bigger room while cleaning. Eco mode lets you work around 60 minutes and Medium mode will last till 40 minutes which is also not bad. The display also helps check the current battery level and how long it will last. The battery lasting time also depends on the attachments as some of them are moving parts that draw more power.

The suction motor pulls in dirt and dust particles, including larger impurities such as cobwebs, food crumbs and scraps of paper into the sealed dustbin. The bin is a transparent chamber that let’s user see how much dirt is accumulated in it and an indicator also gives an indication of when to be emptied. Cleaning the bin is very easy with the suction intake facing downwards, and pushing on the red handle towards the bottom. It opens the lid of the bin and pushes the entire bin downwards to eject most of its contents, so you need to make sure that it goes to the disposal container directly. The volume of the bin is 0.54L
The back of the Dyson V11 Absolute Pro’s filter is the one that power-vacuums all tiny dirt and dust particles. This can be taken off separately and rinsed with running tap water. It will need to be left to completely dry for the next 24 hrs before fitting it back with the body. Dyson also recommends replacing it every six months if you are using vacuum heavily.

The base of the Dyson V11 Absolute Pro is the removable battery with its proprietary charging socket, and the charging adapter is inside the box. Before using the Dyson V11 Absolute Pro, charge it completely for the first time. It takes 4.5 hours to charge from 0-100%. and weighs around 3kg. The average use time for in one go was 15-20 minutes, which is enough to clean a single room completely
Battery life and Performance
The Dyson V11 Absolute Pro runs 60 minutes straight when used in Eco mode, in Medium mode, it runs for 40 minutes and Boost mode runs around 10 minutes as it drains the battery faster. While using boost mode the machine will operate on higher decibels. Therefore, we suggest using Boost mode only when it is absolutely needed. Otherwise, the Medium mode works quite well in day to day life.
The battery life also depends on each attachment that you use. Initially to get well acquainted with the device we recommend monitoring the usage of the battery for every specific attachment. The battery life of Dyson is decent with the cord-free form factor and Hyperdymium motor.

The Dyson V11 Absolute Pro is the top line vacuum cleaner currently available in India. The Hand usage way, cord-free design and a replaceable battery which can run sufficiently to clean the house. It isn’t louder like the other traditional dirt or drum vacuum cleaners. All the attachments and accessories make cleaning easy on any surface of the house which can be carpet, hard surfaces, top of AC, shelves, beds, sofas, iron mesh and more. It works well on office chairs, unreachable corners under the bed using the wand (which works like a magic wand here) and the results were impressive.
We used a soft dusting brush to clean sofas, a Mattress Tool for the mattress in-home, Crevice Tool and Torque Drive attachment which comes with a motorised roller and brush for cleaning office chairs. The Soft Roller cleaner is the most used attachment according to me to clean the hard floors, as it cleans dust and small particles. The up-top adapter helps reach the tricky spots including ceiling fans, and top shelves. It will take some time to get used to all the attachments but once you’re familiar, it will be easy. Vacuum Cleaners are never silent, but Dyson V11 Absolute Pro has less noise compared to other available Vacuum cleaners in the market.
