Alcatel with fitness band!
TCL Chinese smartphones makers launched Alcatel One Touch Idol X+Â in China. Alcatel One Touch Idol X+Â has 5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels at 440ppi. The smartphone is loaded with 2GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 in additional powered by Mali 400 GPU. It runs on 2GB RAM with 16GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 32GB.
Alcatel One Touch Idol X+Â runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calling. Idol X+ comes with a Boomband which is a Bluetooth enabled wristband that will track your fitness activities and will be available in various colours. Boomband runs compatible with Idol X+ coz of app and there is no official word that this Boomband will support other android devices or not.
Alcatel One Touch Idol X+Â will be available in Pure White, Deep Blue and Lemon Yellow colours at 1999 Chinese Yuan (approx. Rs.20,430) along with Boomband. Idol X+ will go on sale in China from mid-January 2014 and no word on global release.
