Gionee announced M6 and M6 Plus smartphone in China, which are member of Marathon series. Both the smartphone comes with encrypted chip for secure calling and has fingerprint sensor in the front. These smartphones have metal alloy body treated with zircon sand surface coating, infrared sensor on the top but the M6 Plus doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack. The Gionee M6 packs a 5000mAh battery and the Gionee M6 Plus has 6020mAh battery. Both have 9V/2A fast charging support with dual charging chip.
The Gionee M6 packs with 5.5-inch FHD display whereas M6 Plus comes with 6-inch FHD display. Both running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with new Amigo OS 3.2 UI on top. Both have 8MP front camera, M6 has 13MP rear camera and M6 Plus has 16MP camera.
The Gionee M6 come in Champagne Gold and Latte Gold colours. The 64GB variant of M6 comes with 2699 yuan (approx. Rs. 27220) and the 128GB variant is priced at 2899 yuan (approx. Rs. 29225). The Gionee M6 Plus will be coming in Champagne Gold colour, the 64GB version costs 2999 yuan (approx. Rs. 30230) and the 128GB variant priced for 3199 yuan (approx. Rs. 32249). No word on global roll out.
