Samsung launched T3 SSD with 2TB storage capacity

Portable and shockproof SSD!

Samsung Electronics has announced Portable SSD T3, which is an external solid state device (SSD). It will be coming in four storage variants: 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB. With Samsung’s proprietary Vertical NAND (V-NAND) and SSD TurboWrite technology, the T3 drive provides advanced performance, enabling consumers, content creators, business and IT professionals.

The T3 SSD is compatible with Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS 10.7 or above, Android KitKat (version 4.4) or up and feature USB 3.1 Type C connection. The SSD T3 gives fast read/write speeds for data transfer. It comes with AES-256 bit hardware Encryption, which lets user can easily manage their password settings on the move.

It has a metal body with a shock resistant internal frame. It is shock resistant up to 1,500G and resistant up to 2 meter drop test. It has a thermal guard, which efficiently manages workload to prevent overheating.

The new Portable SSD T3 is priced for INR 10,999 for 250GB, INR 18,999 for 500GB, INR 37,999 for 1TB and INR 74,999 for 2TB, will go on sale from 21st March. It will be available on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal. The SSD T3 comes with 3 years of warranty.
