Xiaomi brings new Y series in India which is focussed on Selfies. The company announced two new smartphone under this category – Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. As the name suggest Y1 is the big brother which has 16MP front camera with Selfie LED Flash (first in any Xiaomi phone) and Y1 Lite has 5MP front camera.The Redmi Y1 is powered by Snapdragon 435 processor whereas Redmi Y1 Lite powered by Snapdragon 425. Both these smartphone sports 13MP rear camera, running on Android 7.1.1 with MIUI 9 on top, supports dual SIM and packed with 3000mAh battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite and Redmi Y1 will be coming in Gold and Dark Gray colours. The Redmi Y1 is priced at Rs. 6999 and Redmi Y1 priced at Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is priced for Rs. 10,999. Both smartphones will be going on sale through Mi.com and Amazon.in.
