Creative Aurvana ANC Headphone: Review

As per the name suggest Creative Aurvana ANC is an active noise cancellable headphone brought by Creative. Creative is a good brand amongst Audio Section and it produces a lot of music and sound gears. At and attractive price of 10,999 INR it offers great build, design and specifications. Let’s check out how is the headphone perform.

What Aurvana offers?

Some of the specifications it offers are:-

  • 40mm Neodymium Magnet drivers
  • 5m detachable braided stereo cable
  • Frequency Response of 20Hz – 20kHz
  • Multi-Mic Active Noise Cancellation
  • Noise Reduction Level up to 18dB (87%)
  • AAA alkaline battery with 40hours of battery life
  • Leatherette Foam Ear Cushion
  • Inline Microphone and Control Buttons

Design and Build:

The design and build of Creative Aurvana ANC feels premium with the silver colour smooth finish on the ear cups outer frame. The ear cups are comfortable to wear but not for a long time as the system seems a bit tight and contracted. The ear cups are rotatable so it can secure less space so it can be carried easily.

Performance:

The performance of the Headphone is satisfied. The output quality is good but not the best while the Noise Cancellation System works fine. The Noise cancellation works on the AAA battery fitted in the ear cup. As soon you switch on the system, it cuts out most of the distortion of the outside noise.

The Noise Cancellation Quality is the USP of this headphone. On our testing tracks, I find out the audio quality is good for the pop and rock music. The bass and treble is bit low and hence it’ll disappoint the EDM lovers.

Verdict:

The Creative Aurvana ANC headphone is good choice if you’re strict on price budget and need a good headphone with Noise Cancellation feature. It has a premium design, sturdy body and decent sound quality. You can definitely go for it but there are some other best options available in the market.
