Huawei in India is known for its cost-effective feature rich devices. Following the same blueprint, the brand has today announced a new smartphone at an event in New Delhi. The smartphone is known as the Huawei Honor 8X and is targeted to compete against the likes of Mi A2, Realme 2 Pro, etc. The handset looks attractive with a distinct and premium glass design. The device was first launched in China, however, we are happy to announce that Huawei has kept the specifications identical to the Chinese variant. The smartphone comes powered by the fresh Kirin 710 processor coupled with a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU for Gaming. The smartphone would be made available in three variants: 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, 6GB RAM+64GB ROM, and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. Huawei has provided a dedicated slot for memory expansion up to 400GB’s via micro-SD card.
Honor 8X has a mammoth 6.5(inch) Full HD+ IPS Display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In the rear, it sports a 20MP+2MP Dual-Camera setup with PDAF, Aperture f/1.8, LED Flash whereas in the front a 16MP selfie shooter with Aperture f/2.0 is present. The device has a Fingerprint Scanner in the rear department and runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Fueling the device is a 3750mAh battery with Fast Charging.
