ASUS launched its Chromebook series in India – C223, C214, C423, and C523. The Chromebook 12 (C214), Chromebook Flip (C214) comes with an 11.6-inch HD (Touch screen Flip), Chromebook 14 (C423) has a 14-inch HD NanoEdge screen and the Chromebook 15 (C523) has a 15.6-inch NanoEdge Full-HD screen. The 14nad 15-inch models which are touchscreen comes with a Glossy finish.
The C223 weighs 1kg and the C214 weighs 1.2kg, both are ultra-portable and ultra-compact which is smaller than an A4 sheet. The Chromebook C423 and C523 are the first ASUS Chromebooks that comes with NanoEdge displays, screen-to-body ratio is up to 80%. These Chromebooks are powered by Chrome OS and will get updates till June 2024, according to Google. The C223, C423, C523 are powered by an Intel Celeron N3350 processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics 500. The Chromebook Flip C214 is powered by a Celeron N4020 processor with Intel HD Graphics 600.
According to ASUS the Chromebook Flip C214 is designed for Students, with its 360-degree convertible touchscreen display, Dual Cameras that include a special world-facing autofocus camera to capture photos and videos with a tablet mode, and also built with highly rugged yet sleek coz it has certified military-grade durability.
All these Chromebooks feature an edge-to-edge Chiclet Keyboard with a 1.5mm Key-travel and Spill-resistant design and a Multi-touch touchpad. These come with a 45W Type-C fast charging adapter. ASUS Chromebooks C423 and C523 can be opened to 180° to lay flat.
