With a connected digital workflow, Siemens enables early testing through simulation before building physical prototypes, improving efficiency. Additionally, collaborative work enhances effectiveness, and the system improves traceability, verification, and validation, which are pertinent to aircraft certification.
Sarla Aviation is leveraging a bouquet of software solutions from the Siemens portfolio, including Designcenter for product engineering, Simcenter for simulation and performance validation, and Capital for electrical system design, including battery management, power distribution, and avionics for eVTOL aircraft. The company is also using Polarion software to manage application development and support certification requirements, including DO-178C compliance. Teamcenter software serves as the digital backbone by managing product data, improving collaboration and providing traceability across design, simulation and manufacturing activities.
