In this review, we’ll dive deeper into the different aspects of the headphones.

Design and Comfort:

The Sony WH-CH720N has a sleek and modern design with a matte finish that looks elegant. The earcups are oval-shaped and have a soft cushioning that feels comfortable on the ears. The adjustable headband has the same cushioning as the earcups, providing a comfortable fit. The earcups are also foldable, making them easy to hang on the neck. It doesn’t come with any bundled case.

The noise-cancelling feature is the highlight as it comes with the same chip (Integrated Processor V1) used in WH-1000XM5 it blocks the outside noise and is useful for a noisy environment. It even blocks out the low-frequency sounds like the hum of a fan, air conditioner or vehicle engine, allowing the listener to immersive music experience. It supports Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), which can play high-res audio.

Battery Life:

One of the standout features of the Sony WH-CH720N is its super impressive battery life of up to 35 hours, which means you can have long sessions of music listening and forget to charge multiple times.

The headphones can be charged using a USB-C cable, and a quick 3-minute charge can provide you up to an hour of playback time, which is handy if you are in hurry. The battery charge time of headphones is 3.5 hours.

Connectivity:

The Sony WH-CH720N supports Bluetooth 5.0, which provides a stable and reliable connection. The headphones support multipoint pairing, which means you can use multiple devices simultaneously. It also has NFC connectivity, making it easy to pair with compatible devices. It is a small feature but is very helpful for switching multiple devices. The Sony Headphones Connect app is the companion app which gives more customization on sound settings, app has presets with custom equalizer settings such as Surround Sound and Club settings. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack port which let it connect with wire in old fashioned way. It is quite useful who like lossless music.

Conclusion:

The Sony WH-CH720N is a great mid-range wireless noise-cancelling headphone that provides an impressive listening experience. The headphones have a sleek design, and are comfortable to wear. It comes with loads of features including non-compromising sound quality, noise cancelling feature, voice assistant support, multi-point connect and finally a big battery to last more than a day.
