Canon’s EOS 200D II Launched in India: A Compact Lightweight 4K DSLR

Canon just added a new player to their EOS DSLR range dubbed as the EOS 200D II. This camera is latest in line of their beginner segment and a successor to the iconic EOS 200D. It’s powered by Canon`s new DIGIC 8 imaging processor and packs in a whole lot of features within a body that is compact yet lightweight.

Canon purport’s the EOS 200D II to be an ideal DSLR for beginners with its light and compact form factor. It’s powered by a 24.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor coupled with DIGIC 8 image processing kit and comes with creative features such as Creative Assist and Smooth Skin for capturing stunning images. Dual pixel autofocus offers enhanced focusing while shooting with a total of nine autofocus points.

The DSLR is slated to be available at a starting price of Rs. 52,995 for the body and the EF-S18-55 IS STM kit lens with an additional EF-S55-250 IS STM zoom lens coming in at a total cost of Rs. 65,995. The EOS 200D II will be available across Canon stores and online ecommerce platforms starting this week.
