Redmi Note 7s Launched: 48-Megapixel Camera Starting at just Rs.10,999

Xiaomi just unveiled their new Redmi Note 7S smartphone at a starting price of Rs.10,999 in India. This variant follows the 7-Series of the Redmi brand and is priced pretty close to the Redmi Note series. The phone is set to be available starting 23 May via sale through Flipkart, Mi.com and official Mi stores across India.

The significant features of the Redmi Note 7s include a 48-megapixel primary camera on the back, possibly borrowed straight out of the Redmi Pro series. Its coupled with a 5MP secondary depth sensor that includes features such as PDAF, EIS, and AI Portrait Mode. Xiaomi used a 13-megapixel sensor at the front that comes with their proprietary AI Portrait mode and AI Face unlock.

Specs include a 6.3-inch full HD+ display (1080×2340 px) powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz with a 4,000mAh battery pack underneath that supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging tech.

Additional features include a dedicated dual-nano sim slot, P2i splash-resistant coating, Gorilla Glass 5, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone comes in two optional variants priced at Rs. 10,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant for Rs. 12,999. There are three distinct colour options namely Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue.
