HTC 12 and 12+ launched with Android 8.0 Oreo at starting price of Rs 15800

HTC 12

HTC launched its two new smartphones, HTC 12 and HTC 12+ in India. The HTC 12 features a 13-MP camera. 3GB of RAM and MediaTek processor while the higher variant HTC 12+ features a Dual Camera, Snapdragon chipset, and Android 8.0 Oero. Both the smartphones come with acrylic glass back surface.

HTC 12 houses a Quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and 2730mAh battery. It features a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 720×1440 pixel resolution. This is a Dual SIM (Nano) smartphone and it runs on Android-based HTC Sense UI. It also sports a 13-MP rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED Flash. The front camera is of 5-MP with f/2.4 aperture. Other connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB.

HTC 12+

HTC 12+ features a 6-inch HD+ IPS display, 18:9 aspect ratio and  720×1440 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB on storage. It is backed by 2965mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 based HTC Sense UI. The front camera is of 8-MP with f/2.0 aperture while the Dual Rear Camera setup has 12-MP primary and 2-MP secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Both the smartphone comes in two colour variant, Cool Black, and Warm Silver. The HTC 12 is priced at Rs 15,800 while the HTC 12+ is priced at Rs 19,790. They’ll go on sale from 11th June and will be available on HTC E-Store and other Offline Retail Stores.
