OPPO Reno 2F & 2Z Smartphones Launched in India

Oppo launched another two smartphones in Reno 2 series named Reno 2F and Reno 2Z, along with Reno 2. This new front in the segment of value-for-money gaming smartphones. Let’s quickly gloss over the key specs of the new Reno 2F and 2Z. 

Oppo Reno 2F

The Oppo Reno 2F features a slightly shorter 6.53-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display includes a dedicated eye protection mode to cut down the blue light from the display to alleviate the eye strain issue. Imaging wise the Reno 2F packs a quad-camera setup of 48MP Samsung GM1 primary camera, 8MP ultrawide sensor (119-degree), with two 2MP mono & portrait lens. It features an enhanced Ultra Night Mode 2.0, AI beauty mode, Ultra Dark mode, Portrait mode for shooting aid. The front-facing camera is a 16MP rising unit that activates in under 0.74s and has support for ambient lighting mode for better low light selfies. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, which comes in four Cortex-A73 cores, four Cortex-A53 cores, and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The processor is coupled with an 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery capacity of the smartphone is also a robust 4000mAh unit.

Oppo Reno 2Z 

The Oppo Reno 2Z features a 6.53-inch AMOLED unit with Full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Unlike the Reno 2F, the Reno 2Z comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The quad-camera setup comprises of a 48MP IMX596 primary camera, an 8MP (119-degree) ultrawide sensor, and two 2MP sensors serving as mono lens & Portrait lens. The Oppo Reno 2Z comes with an Ultra stable mode that compensates for shaky shots with its EIS (electronic image stabilization) and OIS support. It also includes an enhanced Ultra Dark Mode which improves the natural skin tone of the shots taken at night. The Oppo Reno 2Z is powered by a MediaTek Helio P90 SoC, of four Cortex-A75 cores, four Cortex-55 cores, and PowerVR GM 9446 GPU. The chipset comes mated to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The battery is a similar 4000mAh unit which is more than enough for your everyday use.

Pricing & Availability:

Oppo Reno 2Z is priced at ₹26,990 for the single memory 8GB+256GB variant, while the 2F price is not revealed but will go on sale from November in India. The Reno 2Z is available in Sky White, Polar Light and Luminous Black colour scheme, while the Reno 2F comes in just Sky White and Lake Green color scheme. The Reno 2z will be availbale for pre-order from today on Amazon.in and Flipkart, will be available from 6th Sepember.
