Top 5 features of the Samsung Galaxy A31

Samsung has been among the most active smartphone brands in India, both in terms of its market share as well as launches. Even amidst the ongoing pandemic, the phone maker is ensuring that it keeps on delivering impressive handsets to the consumers. One such offering is the Samsung Galaxy A31, which is the successor of the Galaxy A30s. The mid-range smartphone offers a good balance between style and specs. Curious to know how? Read on to find out.

Design

Samsung’s Galaxy A series of devices have always been known for their design language, and the Galaxy A31 is no different. While it doesn’t differ much from the Galaxy A30 or A30s, it does look quite attractive. It’s also not as fragile as the glass-sandwich design phones since the company has made use of a plastic panel that offers a glass-like sheen. The phone is available in classic black, blue, red and white hues, and the pattern on the rear panel also gives it a unique look.

Display

With the display being the primary means to interact with the smartphone, it’s important for a device to get it right. Well, you know you can’t hold anything against Samsung in this department. The Galaxy A31 offers a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. And with just a punch-hole tucked in the top-left corner, the large canvas becomes a great way to enjoy watching videos or reading content. The display also holds the under-display fingerprint scanner.

Cameras

In the camera department, the Galaxy A31 features a quad-camera setup with the main shooter rated at 48-megapixels. The snapper is complemented by an 8MP camera and two 5MP lenses. The 8MP ultra-wide angle lets you capture a wider frame without changing your position, while the 5MP macro camera lets you go closer to the subject. Lastly, the 5MP sensor is helpful for capturing portraits. All in all, the camera array ensures that you can capture all sorts of scenarios. And for your selfies and video calls with friends and loved ones, the phone is equipped with a 20MP shooter.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy A31 can handle anything you throw at it, all thanks to MediaTek’s Helio P65 processor. The octa-core chip is clocked at 2GHz and is paired with 6 gigs of RAM. The combination performs quite well and is able to manage casual games too, thanks to Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. There’s plenty of storage onboard too, with 128GB memory that can be expanded further with the use of a microSD card of up to 512GB.

Battery

What good is a smartphone if it doesn’t last even a single day? Well, Samsung has got you covered there well as the brand’s A31 ships with a beefy 5,000mAh battery. Even with heavy usage, it can easily last a day and then some more. And when you do need to charge the phone, it can be juiced up quickly with the bundled 15W fast charger.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 is available to buy for Rs 21,999 across online and offline stores. So if you are looking for a reliable daily driver, you know which one deserves your attention.
