Vivo just announced their new V17 Pro at a launch event in India today. The smartphone is a successor to the V15 Pro launched last year. The V17 Pro is high on camera as it includes a total of six sensors, four at the back and two that sits on a pop-up mechanism placed on the top. With this new entrant, the V17 Pro becomes the first smartphone in the world that includes a dual-camera setup on the front, as opposed to a single popup unit that comes with other manufacturers.
The smartphone comes with a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie with company’s own FunTouch 9.0 UI running on top.
Camera specs include a 48MP Super Clarity sensor, 8MP Wide-angle sensor, a 13MP (2x) telephoto lens and a 2MP Bokeh sensor on the back. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera comes through a cool looking pop-up mechanism that lifts a set of dual-camera setup that houses a 32MP selfie sensor and a 105-degree Super Wide-angle lens on top.
The Vivo V17 Pro comes with a huge 4100mAh battery with fast charging support through the USB-C port on the bottom. The device offers an in-display fingerprint sensor and a face unlock feature for added security.

The Vivo V17 comes in two distinct colours called the Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice colors. The device is priced at ₹29,990 for 8GB+128GB variant. The V17 Pro will be up for grabs starting September on Flipkart, Amazon and other offline stores across the country.
