Infinix Hot 7 Launched: Dual Front & Rear Camera Smartphone at just ₹7,999

In a bid to expand its product portfolio in India, Infinix just launched their new smartphone called the Infinix Hot 7. The phone comes with a dual rear camera setup with a dual selfie camera unit and a massive 4000mAh battery pack. It also comes in a little cheaper compared to its Pro version with a price of ₹7,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

The design is borrowed right from the Hot 7 Pro with its wide notch up top and a smooth contour all around. It comes with a 6.19-inch HD+ LCD display that sports a 2.5D glass protection and comes in at an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display is capable of emitting a brightness level equivalent to 500 nits and possess some quality modes such as Read and Eye Care to minimize strain on users eyes. The device runs on the company`s own XOS 5.0 operating system based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Under the hood, it packs in a 2.39GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. Whereas the optics come in shape of a dual camera setup consisting of 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Camera options include features such as PDAF, Dual LED Flash, AI Portrait, AI HDR, Night, Sports, Blue Sky, and Text. 

On the other hand, a selfie camera includes a dual camera setup of 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0) lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It packs a fingerprint sensor on the back with an option of face unlock as well. 

Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix India, said in a statement,

The Hot 7 is a great addition to our product ecosystem, and it truly epitomizes the strategic enrichment we are looking to achieve through our devices to further the amazing journey we have had in the Indian market

The device will be sold via Flipkart in India at a price of ₹7,999, starting July 15 in an open sale style. Colour options include a Midnight Black, Aqua Blue, and Mocha Brown.
