As promised by the company at the launch of the V17 Pro back in September, vivo just announced its new V17 smartphone in India today. The new smartphone comes with a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.38%. This magnificent screen is powered by an ageing Snapdragon 675 chipset and 8 gigs of RAM. The operating system runs on the Android Pie with company’s own FunTouch OS 9 UI on top. Camera-wise the smartphone packs a 48MP primary lens along with an 8MP 120° ultrawide lens, a 2MP portraits lens and a 2MP macro lens on the back. The front is flanked by a punch-hole display that accommodates the 32MP selfie camera that is barely visible on the first look. Additional features include a 128GB USF 2.1 storage, in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4500 mAh battery with 18W Dual Engine charging technology.
Pricing and Availability:
The Vivo V17 is offered in two color options called the Glacier Ice White and Midnight Black color. The smartphone is priced at ₹ 22,990 and will be available for pre-order via Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall, Tata CliQ as well as offline stores starting today. Company has also bunded their new XE710 earphones worth Rs. 1999 right inside the box.
